Everything in the ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access launch: three regions, 60+ areas, four classes, dungeons, housing, trade, PvP, price and the roadmap.
ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access
ArcheAge Chronicles launches in Steam Early Access on November 3, 2026 for $29.99. It includes three regions of Auroria, four classes, eight weapons, dungeons, field bosses, housing, farming, crafting, trade and PvP channels — not the full 1.0 game.
Early Access is a content-complete slice, not a demo. XLGAMES describes more than 60 areas, over 1,000 exploration and collection points and roughly twenty times the demo's playable space. That is enough to treat the purchase as a full leveling game, provided you understand what is still missing.
What is included at launch
- Three regions: Diamond Shores, Gylden Ruins and Astron Plains
- 60+ areas with regional stories, bosses and dungeons
- 1,000+ exploration and collection points
- Four classes: Warrior, Ranger, Mage and Berserker
- Eight weapons with separate trait trees
- Dungeons for solo or parties of up to four
- Field bosses with gear, accessories and unique crafting materials
- Hersander's Tower and the Hereafter Challenge
- Housing, farming, gathering, crafting and trade
- PvP channels with a 10–15% monster EXP bonus
- Controller support and full keyboard/mouse play
What is not included
The level cap has not been published. There is no announced raid tier, ranked PvP ladder or guild trade-post warfare. Structured trade-run PvP is described as early planning, not a launch feature.
Gender selection is incomplete: Warrior and Berserker are male-only, Mage and Ranger female-only. Only the female Warrior has a date.
The third weapon for each class is also a post-launch rollout. Warrior's Gladius arrives in December; the other classes have no date.
The December update
XLGAMES has detailed the first content patch:
- Female Warrior character option
- Gladius as Warrior's third weapon
- Combat balance changes for Wall of Fire, Wavesword, Fire Arrow, lightning skills and several Berserker tools
- New trait stat nodes and four new Lunastones
- Quality-of-life fixes: rebindable UI shortcuts, separate camera Y-axis, smoother camera rotation, ladder climbing without stamina, hide glasses/masks, more presets
That is a substantial first patch. It also confirms the Early Access build will change quickly, which is good for balance and bad for anyone who wants a stable meta on day one.

Price and value
$29.99 is the full Early Access price. There is no subscription and no announced cash-shop details beyond XLGAMES' statement that monetization will be discussed separately.
Compare it to a full-price game: three regions, 60+ areas and life skills is a reasonable amount of content for the price. Compare it to a finished MMO: the endgame is unproven, the class roster is small and the gender locks are a real limitation.
Should you join Early Access?
Join if you want to level through a new world at launch, you enjoy parry-based action combat and you are comfortable with patches changing your build.
Wait if you need a complete endgame, you refuse gender-locked classes, or you play on console. The review page gives a fuller verdict, and the release date page has launch times.
